Free Ways To Natural Weight Loss

By Sivakorn Siricharoensataporn

For those who have already crossed the stage of averting obesity, there is still a ray of hope to lose weight and that too naturally without any side effects. Weight loss primarily involves two things - healthy food habits and physical activity.

Eating healthy food doesn't necessarily mean restrictive dieting, i.e. sudden and drastic change in eating habits of people that often leads to more craving and is thereby unsustainable for majority, which demoralizes them and they eventually give up their pursuit for weight loss. The changes that are made in the diet should therefore be small and the ones that can be continued for a long term.

For instance, one may try taking fruits instead of biscuits and simply cut down the deserts that one consumes after the meal. It would also be helpful to replace junk food with some healthy snacks such as sprouted pulses. These are small sacrifices that will gradually become a part of your daily life.

Once you start losing, you will definitely be encouraged and that will make you even more determined. Positive thinking and noticing your achievements will help you stay focused. The same concept of making small changes applies to physical activity as well. People often join fitness centers to lose weight and somehow leave it as they are not able to adjust it to their tight schedules. The result is that they gain weight again. So, it is better to make exercises as a part of your schedule.

That is to say, climbing stairs at the workplace instead of using escalators, playing with your kid or take a brisk walk at night with your family instead of simply chatting at home are some of the physical activities which must be adopted in our daily life. These small changes can thereby help you in achieving a lot and again make you fit in the same jeans that you might have stacked in your wardrobe with the hope of wearing it one day once you are slim. Depending on others for your diet and exercise schedules are a mere waste of time, you are your best judge in working out your slimming plan that fits best in your schedule and thereby can be worked upon easily without any problems.

So, make a schedule for yourself today and get started to discover a new "you", who is more beautiful, confident, healthy and all ready to chase the world with pride. Just adhere to these small changes and see the difference in yourself. So, no need to be distressed anymore if you are overweight. Be firm and follow the natural healthy diet plan and shed off those extra pounds hampering your personality.

Fat Loss Naturally

By Priya S

There is a general confusion between weight loss and fat loss. Extreme case of misunderstanding. A healthy person needs certain amount of fat in the body. This Fat is stored under the skin and is a store of energy in our body. High fat loss from the body can be fatal.
Men are who have over 25 of fat. Relating to this fact it can be concluded that 60% or more people cross this border line.

To cut down excess body fat we need to first cut down intake of excess calories which result in excess fat deposition in the body. Secondly the excess fat stored needs to be burned off. Favorable results can be achieved by observing proper eating habits and disciplined following of various exercises.

It should be noted that weight loss programs also should necessarily include correct exercises. Exercises tone up our body muscles in addition to burning the stored fats by increasing the metabolism rate of our body. Here it should be understood that a muscular body burns fat more than a lean and thin body.

We should observe healthy eating habit and eat "good" proteins, "good" carbohydrates, and "good" fats.

Low fat milk products such as skimmed milk, cottage cheese, Pulses, yogurt as well as fish are rich in proteins but are low on fat. So they can be considered good proteins. Proteins are essential in building and repairing muscles.

In the same way carbohydrates are essential for the body as source of energy. People who do physical labor need more carbohydrates and still remain normally healthy and fit. While fruits, vegetables, and cereals supply carbohydrates to the body and are also natural hunger-suppressants as body consume them slowly. They also have moderate calories and fats.

Certain fatty foods are also very helpful for the body. Fatty acids the body gets from fish such as Salmon, Mackerel, Sardines and Herrings help regulate blood pressure, they also lower risk of heart failures, and prevent clotting of blood.

Fiber foods contribute few calories, but they are filling. These are natural hunger suppressants. Moreover they are not digested by the body and while passing through the body undigested they help in carrying away some undigested fats and proteins. Fruits, green vegetable and salads contain good fiber content. Eat adequate fiber food. Fibrous food also helps keep our digestive system clean.

While trying to lose fat from the body, drink plenty of water - especially ice cold water. Water is a natural appetite suppressant and it is essential in the process of burning up the stored fat. Why? Because as cold water reduces body temperature, body increases metabolism burning more fat in order to increase the body temperature to normal limits. It helps weight loss naturally.

How Do I lose Body Fat?

By Rachel Harding

Natural weight loss is a big subject today for many people who do not understand the principle of eating only the amount they need for the amount physical activity they perform; advice like this is for the most part ignored. You would think this simple set of instructions should be easy to follow; with the number of overweight American citizens increasing, this advice obviously doesn't work. The conflicting aspect is that a large percentage of overweight people are desperately trying to lose those pounds whether it is because they are tired of the looks they receive or for health reasons.

What most people do not realize is keeping at the right weight is much, much easier than losing it. Even though many people know this subconsciously very few actually plan to ensure that weight gain doesn't happen to them.

Studies have shown that it is more likely a person who has lost weight using a calorie controlled diet, even if they actually enjoyed it, are more likely to go back to their old eating habits at some point. Natural weight loss is about losing weight for good and requires switching to healthy eating habits and implementing lifestyle changes to stay healthy.

The truth is there is a huge price to pay with your health when you are overweight and in particular, clinically obese. The annoying part is that natural weight maintenance is not difficult to understand but overweight people choose to ignore this.

Natural weight loss requires a balanced approach which means a diet that contains quantities of complex carbohydrates, fiber, reduced fat and not too much protein. A meal containing this group would be something like a baked potato, vegetables and some meat, lean of course but it would not contain gravy or sour cream.

Unfortunately, dietary fat contains higher amounts of calories than ordinary food which when consumed will just be converted to body fat more readily. Despite the number of either low fat or zero fat foods on the market, it's a surprise that the American people continue to put on weight, but there is a very good reason for this.

The misconception is if you are eating something fat-free then you won't be adding extra fat to your body but all food contains calories, just not always in the form of fat. If you really want to lose weight through a program you will need to dump the fat free products and eat small healthy snacks that are high in nutrition.

Some health care specialists believe that a good method is to eat smaller meals and healthy, nutritious snacks every 3 or 4 hours. When combined with regular exercise, this natural weight loss plan offers a way to lose unwanted pounds in the long run.

Natural Weight Loss Success Requires Continued Motivation

By Dr. George Best

Although several effective weight loss programs exist that give excellent diet and exercise recommendations, and may include some sort of natural weight loss aid, the majority of people fail to lose weight long-term. Every decent weight loss program has some very impressive success stories, but these are the exceptions and not the rule. The question is, why do some people achieve dramatic weight loss with these programs, while many others fail to lose any weight at all?

The big difference between the successes and the failures lie not in the diet and exercise, or whatever “magical” weight loss aid may be used, the difference lies primarily in whether one sticks to the program or not. In other words, the bid difference is in the level of commitment and motivation one has to staying with the program. Oftentimes, individuals will start out strong, but then lose motivation in a short period of time - usually less than two weeks, and then lose any progress they’ve made.

The question is, what causes someone who has finally made the commitment to lose weight to lose his or her motivation so quickly as to never make any real progress?

Actually, a lot of things can happen. Temptations arise. Other people can interfere. They run out of time and/or energy to eat right and exercise. Or, maybe they simply lose sight of the reasons they decided to try to lose weight in the first place.

One key to staying focused is to frequently think about your weight loss goals and what losing weight will mean to you. Most people don’t just decide they want to lose weight. There’s usually a reason they want to lose weight. Maybe it’s because they’re worried about their health. Maybe it’s because they can’t find clothes they like that fit them. Maybe it’s because they want to find a romantic partner and think that it will be easier if they look better. Maybe they’re tired of people calling them fat and making jokes about their weight. There are probably as many reasons for wanting to lose weight as there are people who want to lose weight. If you get clear on your reasons, you’ll have much greater success with any natural weight loss plan.

By focusing on the reason you want to lose weight on a consistent basis, you will tend to stay more motivated. I recommend writing down your underlying reason(s) for wanting to lose weight, but writing it in a way that it will boost your motivation. The most effective way for most people is to write yourself a negative to avoid and the associated positive to go after. For instance, if you’re tired of not being able to find nice clothes in your size, you might write something like, “I am committed to losing weight because I am not willing to be limited to wearing “fat-person” clothes. I am thrilled to be getting my weight to where I can wear stylish, sexy clothes!”

You’ll want to put your written motivation statement in a location where you will see it frequently throughout the day. It is important to take the time to actually stop and read it - and think about what you are reading - don’t just rush through it. Allow youself to really get into the feelings of that motivating statement.

Due to all of the possible influences that can interrupt your weight loss efforts, it is very important to stay focused on the underlying reasons you want to lose weight. By frequently reminding yourself of your real reasons to lose weight, it will be much easier to stay motivated and ultimately to follow-through on your natural weight loss plan and become a success story!
